Structural Analysis Using X-ray Diffraction

The morphologies of polymeric materials in the solid-and solution- states have been deeply studied using X-ray, neutron, transmission electron microscopy, and molecular modeling from atomic to nano scale in real time using a synchrotron radiation source at Pohang Acceleration Laboratory (PAL) and Hanaro. The structural studies cover molecular modeling, crystal structure determination of polymeric material, three-dimensional crystal texture, dynamics of crystallization, micellar structure, indirect Fourier transform for particle shape analysis, etc.
