Since Polymer Nanomaterial Laboratory (PNML) was established by Prof. Soo-Young Park at Kyungpook National University in 2002, PNML has shared numerous valuable ideas with scientific community by publishing them in the world reputed journals. PNML took an active part in spreading scientific knowledges on polymer properties by giving educational opportunities to students from many different countries including South Korea, Pakistan, India, China, and Vietnam.  Alumni of the PNML are working as professors, supervisors, and researchers in academia and industry. Currently the students are doing valuable researches in the hottest research areas such as liquid-crystal based bio-sensors, synthesis of block co-polymers, structural studies using SAXS/WAXS/SANS, synthesis and functionalization of graphene for various application like drug and protein deliveries, and nanocomposites with carbon materials including carbon nanotubes, graphenes, and graphites for value-adding purposes.
