Bipolar Plate for Fuel Cell
One of the most important components of a fuel cell is bipolar plate, which accounts for 60–80% of its total weight and 30–40% of its total cost. Polymer/carbon composite BPs (PCBPs) have been developed for fuel cell applications with polyphenylene sulfide (PPS)/graphite/graphite nanoplate (GNP) powders. The well dispersed GNPs in PPS give synergetic electrical and thermal conductivity properties in the composite.
